Choose a photographer from the list or from the list in class, and do a quick google image search to ensure that you are interested in their work.
THE TASK:
You will need to find answers to the following:
Basic Bio: When were they born? Where are they from? What was their life like? When did they die? Mention family life if it pertains to your photographer. (6 marks)
Their work: What inspired them? What techniques did they use? What were they able to do or have done that no photographer had done before? (6 marks)
Examples: provide 8-12 images of their work: look to provide links to where you found their work. (10 marks)
Your Perspective: This is the personal part, where you get to comment on what you like about their work, what photograph is your favourite, and what you may have learned from them that personally impacts you. (8 marks)
Total marks: 30
Method: You may also do this on your website by using your BLOG and creating a new post. Create a gallery of images in one post and another with your written commentary. Or you may create a slideshow in google drive presenter that you will need to share with: [email protected]
